Hope summer is still treating everyone well! It has been a great few weeks of summer, and I thought I would catch up about a trip that we took in June with my family.
As I stated in my last post, my little brother, Price, graduated from UT in May. To celebrate his graduation, my family decided to spend a week in Virginia together. Austin and Laura have a lake house there, so it was the perfect spot for a little competition, ping-pong, and lots of wake boarding wipeouts... :)
We arrived on Monday afternoon and headed straight to the lake house...and as soon as we got there, we headed straight to the ping-pong table. Rob, Austin, Price and I are all pretty equal in our ping-pong ability, so to say that our tournament (yes, there was a tournament bracket set up) was a little intense is an understatement. But we ate it up.
The next 6 days were filled with lots of this...
And this...
And this...
And this...
And a little more of this...
We did lots of this...
And a little of this...
It was the perfect week of relaxing mixed in with some sibling + Rob + Laura competition. Mom served as a referee and cheerleader when needed. Although I would be incredibly wrong to say that she did not rock it on the wake board and the tube. I mean, how many 50+ women do you know that would do this... ?
And yes, that is her still hanging on with half of her body thrown off the tube.
Here are some more of my favorite shots from the week.
Just the girls :)
Kid's table.
And just the boys...
Kiddos on the boat.
Love him.
It was a great week, and I am so thankful for a family that enjoys spending time together. Can't wait to do it again!
More soon,
